Each weekday is filled with a variety of exciting activities designed to give campers a range of experiences, including:
Sports: A variety of sports enable
young athletes to develop skills
and strength. From archery to tennis – and nearly everything in between (Flying Trapeze, anyone?!) – campers try their hand a variety of exciting activities.
Arts: Drawing, painting, crafts, ceramics, heat press, cooking…campers channel their creativity
and find a variety of ways to express themselves.
Swimming: Certified instructors work with campers to improve their swimming skills (American Red Cross standards). Instruction is balanced by two of the best words in camp: FREE SWIM!
Electives: Campers entering grades 3-9 customize their camp experience with 2-week periods of special electives during which they hone their skills or try something completely new.
Campers enjoy their days on a 28-acre gated and secure West Boca Raton campus that features two swimming pools, a flying trapeze, basketball, tennis and racquetball courts, soccer and baseball fields, a fitness center, boys and girls locker-rooms, a nature preserve, a cafeteria and gymnasiums.
No need to pack a lunch! All children attending the 2:30 and
4:00 p.m. programs enjoy a delicious selection of hot, well balanced kosher meals and a full salad bar (as well as snacks)
daily. Even the pickiest eaters
find something to tempt their appetites – and most enjoy tasting new and exciting menu items.
Each week the entire camp gathers for Oneg Shabbat on Friday afternoons. This special opportunity to come together and finish the week in the spirit of Shabbat features candle-lighting, challah and special entertainment from some of our area’s top performers. Twice each summer parents are invited to join in – and the entertainment is provided by the campers!
Upper Camp features exciting field trips throughout the summer. Water parks, bowling, skating and many more field trip adventures offer campers the best of summer camp – off campus. Lunch, snacks and transportation provided. Older campers venture further to Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
Late Nights and Overnights
Get your sleeping bag ready…For campers in grades 1-4, these special nights are often the highlight of the summer. What could be more fun than a slumber party for the entire unit? Late nights and overnights feature evening swims, scavenger hunts, group games, dance parties, s’mores and movie nights.
Extra Fun and Entertainment
Each week, campers enjoy area entertainers – musicians, acrobats, comedians, magicians and more, making Fridays fantastic. The last week of camp features our Maccabi Games; campers enjoy friendly competition Levis JCC-style, where games, contests and team spirit all factor into an unforgettable Maccabi experience.
