West Boca Theatre Company in association with Island City Stage presents The Timekeepers by Dan Clancy.
Directed by Michael Leeds. Starring Michael McKeever, Matt Stabile, and Mike Westrich

An award-winning and dramatic tale of transcendence in the midst of a world gone mad. Sensitively and artfully performed and directed, this drama pairs disparate concentration camp prisoners Hans, a young German homosexual, and Benjamin, a conservative elderly Jew. Prejudice and indifference give way to a touching friendship and an unlikely human bond in this compelling drama that takes place at a time and place of unfathomable inhumanity.

Love Letters
This Pulitzer Prize finalist by A.R. Gurney centers on two characters, Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner. Childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins in 2nd grade, they exchange letters over 50 years, despite marrying others. Andrew becomes a U.S. senator; Melissa fails as an artist, drinks too much, and becomes estranged from her children. They discuss hopes, dreams and disappointments throughout their separated lives. It’s clear how much they mean to one another. Physically apart, separate, but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be.

Stephen Sondheim’s musical comedy has been a Broadway smash for years. Mama Rose, a stage mother from hell, pushes her daughters June and Louise into vaudeville. Rose pins her hopes for fame on daughter June, while little Louise goes along for the ride. When June escapes to get married, Rose puts Louise in the star spot, but vaudeville is dying and the only booking is in burlesque.  Louise rises to stardom as stripper Gypsy Rose Lee. Songs include "Let Me Entertain You," "Small World," and "Everything's Coming Up Roses.”
